The Department:
Due to the continued rapid expansion and growth journey of our extremely strong organisation, we are looking to fill the vacancy of the Payments Manager to ensure that our players deposit and withdrawal experiences is done within the confines of the regulations and in accordance with best industry practices.
Purpose of Job:
The Payments Manager will report directly to the Head of Payments and will be responsible for the operations and management of the player deposit and withdrawal processes and will work alongside the Payment Operations Teams. The applicant will ensure that a roadmap exists to ensure the best payment solutions are sourced, integrated and made available for different jurisdictions globally.The applicant will manage the end-to-end implementation of payment systems and process. The applicant will perform testing and quality assurance of newly added payment methods and will need to assess these regularly. In addition, we expect that the team will grow and the Payments Manager will be required to recruit, train and manage various payment support staff including analysts.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The position will involve the following areas of responsibility.
- Measuring and tracking PSP performance.
- Compiling and presenting PSP performance reports.
- Manage the PSP onboarding, player deposit and withdrawal payment journeys as the business evolves.
- Monitoring the day-to-day payment success rates and optimize traffic flows across PSPs.
- Serving as the first point of contact for PSP’s queries.
- Working closely with key functions to set up and create requirements for new development and improvements for innovative and cutting-edge payment functionalities.
- Researching and reviewing competitor sites and making recommendations accordingly.
- Perform negotiations with payment providers for improved pricing.
- Creating and performing daily reconciliations between the various providers and back-office data/systems.
- Liaising with the Finance department to ensure cash flows settlements are reconciled.
- Liaise with Legal & Compliance to ensure smooth onboarding of new payment providers and processing of payments is done compliantly.
- Liaise with the MLRO/Head of Fraud and Risk and the Fraud and Risk Department with the onboarding of PSPs and any fraud and risk related matters.
- Keeping up to date with the latest and most efficient payment solutions.
- Supporting the Head of Payments with any specific ad-hoc task related to player payments.
