Purpose of Job:
The Head of Strategy is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for all brands within the company in order to retain customers and extract more value.
Their day-to-day tasks include managing and coordinating marketing and working with creative staff, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaising with other departments and strategic peers within the company.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:
- Working in partnership with the retention and creative team, develop creative briefs and guide strategic direction to meet objectives for all promotional and client-facing communications, email, sms and in-client messaging.
- Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer life cycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
- Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in retention strategy sessions, documenting retention processes, and providing additional strategic support
- Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, retention and generate more customer value.
- Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives, strategies, and budgets
